Residencies

Since May 2021, Ars Scientia has been partnering scientists from the Blusson QMI and the Department of Physics and Astronomy with artists to conduct six-month residencies that explore the potential for academic art-science collaborations to identify areas of collaborative research in pursuit of both scientific and artistic aims. While the residencies culminate in a research symposium, the aims of the partnerships are to think slowly through complex and interrelated ideas. As such, findings and conclusions are encouraged to be intangible and exploratory.
